Day 1 : Depart from home on your South American adventure!

Day 2 : Buenos Aires
Meet your 4starSouthAmerica guide at Ezeiza International Airport. Transfer to one of The Leading Hotels of the World Hotel Alvear Palace*****, a piece of Buenos Aires tradition and elegance.

Day 3: Buenos Aires
Country Day at an Estancia, for relaxing and horse-riding at one of the luxurious Argentinian ranches dating back to the beggining of the 20th Century when they where built by some of the most traditional and wealthy Argentinian families. Take this chance to taste the typical 'Asado Criollo' and delight with some of the best Argentinian meat.

Day 4 : Buenos Aires
Day at leisure for optional tours, such as an excursion to the Tigre Delta.
Farewell Dinner at Cabana Las Lilas, one of the best choices in the city to taste the best quality in Argentinian beef. You'll carry the memory back home.

Day 5: Buenos Aires - Bariloche
After breakfast, transfer to the city airport Aeroparque. Fly to the Aspen of Latin America, San Carlos de Bariloche. Meet you local 4starSouthAmerica guide transfer to one of The Leading Hotels of the World
Llao Llao Hotel & Resort*****, for style engraved in the most beautiful natural scenery between lakes, mountains and dense green woods.

Travel on the Small Circuit: a drive along Nahuel Huapi Lake coast, visiting the best-known points of interest in the outskirts of Bariloche: Playa Bonita, Cerro Campanario, Peninsula de San Pedro where it is interesting a visit to Weiss Family Smokehouse and Peninsula Llao Llao with its typical San Eduardo Chapel; crossing the bridge at La Angostura between Nahuel Huapi and Moreno lakes up to Lopez Bay and the Panoramic Lookout and visiting finally Melihue lavander plantation where lots of by-products are obtained from this wonderfully aromatic plant.
Dinner at Restaurant Familia Weiss; it is not possible to leave the city without tasting these exquisite local specialities.

Day 6: Bariloche
Navigation to Puerto Blest and Lago Frias, sailing out of Puerto Pañuelo across the waters of Nahuel Huapi lake. Enjoying the wonderful scenery of the surrounding snowed-covered or woody mountain peaks. Disembarkation at Puerto Blest for visit to Lago Frias and some time for lunch. After a while the catamaran continues its way to Puerto Cantaros from where a walk through a dense forest of local tree-species, characteristic of the Valdivian Jungle leads to the surprising and roaring Los Cantaros Cascade.

Day 7: Bariloche
Day at leisure for playing golf, enjoying the hotel or taking an optional tour.

Transfer to the airport for flight to Ushuaia. Meet your local 4starSouthAmerica guide at Ushuaia airport & transfer to one of
Hotel Las Hayas*****, the best view of the bay and the city is framed here by luxury and style.
Balance of the afternoon at leisure so as to wander around in the city or visit some of its museums such as the World's End Musem or the Presidium Museum.

Day 9: Ushuaia + Tierra del Fuego
Visit Tierra del Fuego National Park with a short trail on the World's End Train and sail to Isla Redonda. Enjoy a trip to the most scenic sites inside this park enjoying the astounding beauty of its landscape: views of Beagle Channel surrounded by mountains and forests which arise the feeling of a closer contact with nature, peat-bogs that talk of millennia of forest history and beaver dams that are a boast of active nature. Stop at Lapataia Bay for an open view of the world's end waters from the southernmost edge of continental land and finally reach Ensenada Bay and sail across a narrow arm of Beagle Channel to Isla Redonda, a wonderful reservoir of nature that has seldom had any contact with human inhabitants. Lunch in the area.

Day 10: Ushuaia
Navigation along Glaciers Avenue. Embark on 'Charles Darwin' catamaran to sail northeast bound along Beagle Channel, stoping first at Puerto Navarino for migrations since part of the itinerary is in Chilean water and then along a narrow path between mountains which fall straight into the sea and show on the slopes an impressive array of glaciers: Romanche, Holland, France, Italy and Germany. After lunch is served on board, the navigation continues to Glaciar Garibaldi and its floating icebergs. Box lunch on board.
Dinner at Restaurant Kaupe, to taste some delicious King Crab, a 'must' for any visitor to this southern lands.

Day 11: Ushuaia - El Calafate
Transfer to the airport for your flight to El Calafate.
Meet meet your local 4starSouthAmerica guide and transfer to Hosteria Los Notros, the only one situated within the National Park, facing Perito Moreno Glacier. The best place to enter in close contact with glaciers and lakes.
Dinner at Hotel.

Day 12: El Calafate + Upsala
Visit to Upsala Explorer Navigation & Estancia Cristina with Patagonic Barbecue lunch. Located on Cristina Channel, near Upsala Glacier, this ranch has the privilege of being the best land access to the spectacular glacier. Cruise majestically among astonishing icebergs and beautiful sceneries so as to reach this amazing, unique and isolated place. The adventure continues with a drive by 4x4 vehicles up to the Upsala Glacier Lookout. On foot or on horseride, do not miss the opportunity to share in something interesting, unique and amazing.
Dinner at hotel.

Day 13: Breakfast at Hotel.
Minitrekking over Perito Moreno Glacier. Once at Bahia Bajo de las Sombras pier, take a 30-minute boat ride to the southwest margin of the glacier. Upon arrival expert guides help you to put on crampons and explain how to walk on the ice. Enjoy a wonderful 2 hours walk on the surface of Perito Moreno Glacier.Return to the Refuge and free time for lunch (box lunch included).
Afterwards transfer to the paths in front of Moreno Glacier east wall so as to have a different panoramic view of it.
Dinner at Hotel.

Day 14: Breakfast at Hotel.
Transfer to El Calafate airport.

Depart today for Iguazu/Iguassu. Upon your approach to Iguazu International Airport, your pilot might tip his wings to give you your first view of the magnificent Iguassu Falls and the surrounding natural park of Argentina, Argentina and Paraguay. Your bilingual SouthAmerica.travel tour guide or representative escorts you to the fabulous 5***** Bourbon hotel. Feast on a Brazilian dinner tonight after a relaxing swim in the pool.

Wednesday: Today's full day excursion shows you the Falls from both sides. First, cross into Argentina for a walk above the falls, wider and more powerful than Niagara. A boat guides you to an island to get a close-up view of the Falls from below.

The mist of the Falls engulfs you on the Argentinaian side, as you walk out onto a platform and into the garganta do diabo, the 'devil's throat'.

Thursday: The rolling landscape on today's journey is interrupted only by mountain chains, rich farmland and patches of original subtropical forest, with the unique Araucária trees. Arrive in Curitiba, named best-organized city in South America, now a model for many Western industrialized nations! The city has grown 10-fold in the past 20 years, using innovative ideas to manage its substantial growth.

The capital of the state of Paraná is a melting pot of such diverse cultures as Dutch, Polish, Arabian, German, Ukrainian, Italian and Japanese cultures, amongst many others! Check in to the Curitiba 4**** Bourbon hotel. Tonight's included dinner will give you a taste of the region's mix of cultures.

Friday: Morning sightseeing gives you a view of the capital, including the glass Opera House, before heading down to the coast for a stroll along the historic promenade of the Port of Paranaguá After lunch, board the scenic historic railway as it winds its way from sea level up 1200m (3/4 of a mile high!) over the Serra do Mar chain back to Curitiba.

Saturday: Head for São Paulo, the world's second largest city & South America's industrial powerhouse south of the Rio Grande! 4000 deadly poisonous snakes welcome you on our sightseeing including the Butantã Institute, the world-famous research lab specializing in anti-venom research.

Continue downtown to see the Paulistanos as they work and live in this surprisingly well-organized metropolis. Sightseeing includes the Contemporary Art Museum, Basilica and the Teatro Municipal. São Paulo's 4**** Bourbon hotel is located in the heart of the city. Tonight's dinner is included.


The city of São Paulo is full of surprises. It is the largest German manufacturing city in the world, and contains great architecture, such as this masterpiece by Oscar Niemeyer, architect of the capital, Brasilia
