Day 01: Buenos Aires, City Tour & Tango Show
Transfer from Buenos Aires International Airport (Ezeiza) to downtown Buenos Aires with an english language driver and guide.
You will see the symbol of Buenos Aires: the Obelisk, reigning from the heart of the world`s widest street: 9 de Julio Avenue. The Colon Theater, the Embassy of France, and different squares such as historical Plaza de Mayo, the elegant Plaza San Martín and the financial district. The history and essence of Tango will fascinate you in the traditional neighbourhoods:
La Boca, San Telmo and Montserrat, with its antique markets on Sundays. Stroll through the elegant neighbourhood of Recoleta and the trendy Palermo. Finally, the recycled and most modern part of the city: Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires` old port which has been completely renovated, with luxurious skyscrapers, a yacht club, a variety of first class restaurants and the Woman`s Bridge.
At night we take you from your hotel to the famous Esquina Carlos Gardel Tango Show house, at the corner of Carlos Gardel Street and Calle Anchorena. Enjoy an unique Tango Show while having dinner.
Day 02: Buenos Aires, Delta Tigre & Riverside Train
After breakfast, departing from your hotel we will head north. The Riverside Train will take you to Tigre 29 km northeast of Buenos Aires from where you will take a boat ride in the Paraná River Delta to enjoy the natural beauty of this region and get to know better the customs, culture and ways of life of the “isleños” (people who live on the islands of the Delta). Returning to your hotel you will see the northern suburban districts and the residential neighbourhoods of Buenos Aires.
Day 03: Buenos Aires, Free day (opt. Fiesta Gaucha)
Visit to a typical estancia to enjoy the a gaucho menu: empanadas and the Argentine asado prepared on an iron cross over the fire, accompanied of course by the best wines of the country.
The day in the estancia includes riding ancient carriages which will drive you through the gaucho history.
For horse-riding lovers, the estancia offers the best and docile horses for people of all ages, to enjoy a nice trot or a quick gallop.
The rich fauna of the region invites you to silently watch bald coots, black neck swans, herons and many other birds.
The amazing skill of our gauchos on their horses can be appreciated trough these typical entertainments of past days that are still practiced by men in the country.
Day 04: Buenos Aires - Bariloche with “Small Circuit”
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer from downtown Buenos Aires to Buenos Aires Domestic Airport for your flight to Bariloche.
Reception in the local airport and tranfer to your hotel in Bariloche City.
Afetrwards departure from Bariloche bordering Nahuel Huapi Lake towards the West. Arrival to the zone of Llao Llao, visiting the San Eduardo Chapel, with view to the Llao Llao Hotel. The tour continues to Llao Llao Municipal Park with signposted walking paths, and Tacúl Village. Then the trip goes to the Panoramic Point, which provides a beautiful view of the Moreno Lake and the Llao-Llao zone.
Arrival to Bustillo Avenue, visiting Campanario Hill, where an air-chair transports up to the cafeteria. Enjoy the great view from the top before returning to the hotel in Bariloche.
Day 05: Bariloche, Puerto Blest
Leaving from Pañuelo Harbor we sail Lake Nahuel Huapi, through its most western branch right by the Andes. After a one-hour catamaran trip we arrive to Puerto Blest – one of the most beautiful places to see inside the Nahuel Huapi National Park.
After lunch, we get on the catamaran to sail to the other shore of Blest Branch. After climbing into the Valdivian Rain Forest along Los Cántaros Waterfall, we sail back to Pañuelo Harbor arriving to Bariloche that afternoon.
Day 06: Bariloche, Free day (or opt. Isla Victoria)
Departure from hotel in Bariloche towards Puerto Pañuelo, sailing from there to Puerto Anchorena in Victoria Island (11 km). The island can be covered going to different places such as the ex conifer nursery and Bella Vista Hill.
Then we departure to Puerto Quetrihue, in the peninsula with the same name, to visit the world famous natural monument, the Arrayanes Forest, with millenary trees of velvety cinnamon coloured barks and white flowers between its foliage. Afterwards, back to the ship to return to Puerto Pañuelo and to return to hotel in Bariloche.
Day 07: Bariloche - El Calafate
Transfer from your hotel in Bariloche City to the airport for your flight to El Calafate.
Reception in the local airport and transfer to your hotel in El Calafate City.
Tonight dinnner its on our own.
Day 08: El Calafate, Perito Moreno Glacier Excursion
Enjoy the most popular and important excursion in the area. The glacier is a spectacle difficult to describe, that fills the visitor with amazement and admiration, even from the first sights several kilometers away on the road. The trip from El Calafate to the glacier is a succession of lakes, streams, woods and snowcapped mountains. Six km before reaching your destination you get to a vantage point with the first panoramic view of the Glacier, widely known as "Curva de los Suspiros" (Sighs Bend). Finally, the road ends in the western tip of Magallanes Peninsula where, with your feet on the ground and the amazing 5 km-high front of the glacier at your side you get to the footbridges to take a closer look at the glacier.
Day 09: El Calafate, Upsala & Onelli Glacier
The pleasure boat departs from Bandera Port and firstly it sails the cross of Southern and Northern Bends known as Garganta del Diablo. We sail among huge adrift ice floes until we arrive at our first stop: Upsala Glacier. After sailing along the snout area, we go to Onelli Bay for a hike through the forest until the homonymous lake on which a lot of ice floes make up a huge white carpet. We return to the port and to El Calafate.
Day 10: El Calafate - Ushuaia
Transfer from downtown El Calafate to the airport for your flight to Ushuaia.
Reception at Ushuaia Airport and transfer to your hotel.
Day 11: Ushuaia, Lapataia National Park & Beagle Channel cruise
Visit the stunning Tierra del Fuego National Park, Argentina's only coastal national park.
Once in the park we will stop at Ensenada Bay, where you'll be treated to beautiful views of Redonda Island. We will next come to the "End-of-the-World Station", where the "Fueguian South Railway" arrives is in the outskirts of the city of Ushuaia along the banks of the Pipo River. After this our visit goes on to Lapataia Bay, one of the highlights of the park with the unique green and black lagoon. Take a short walking tour to the black lagoon or to the Beavers trail before returning to your hotel in Ushuaia.
“End of the World Train” included.
We bring you from your hotel to the touristy dock in Ushuaia from where our tour starts. We sail the wide Ushuaia bay until we reach the Beagle Channel. During the navigation it is possible to enjoy the wonders of the end of the world, passing by several islands until reaching Eclaireurs’ Lighthouse from where we return to the pier. From here we bring you back to your hotel.
Day 12: Ushuaia, Escondido Lake
Driving east from Ushuaia we will first pass by the industrial area of the city to finally enter the woods, where we will be dazzled by the Velo de Novia (Bride Veil) Cascade.
Skirting the base of Mount Olivia an imposing Sierra opens in front of us where at its foot lays extended a gigantic valley of peat. We will start crossing the Cordillera (the Andes Range) at Garibaldi Pass were we will enjoy an unequal view on lake Escondido.
We will then descend to Petrel Inn, on the shores of Escondido lake before returning back to Ushuaia City.
Dinner at Kaupe Restaurant.
Day 13: Ushuaia - Buenos Aires
Transfer from downtown Ushuaia to Ushuaia Airport for your flight to Buenos Aires Domestic Airport.
Reception and transfer to Buenos Aires International Airport for flight back home.
